You can rent bikes, like you can rent carts in the airport. Put money in, take the bike, and return it.

Also, there are so many motor scooters and motorcycles. The streets are literally lined with them.

My favorite is, of course, all the different cars that aren’t available in the United States. Most of these cars were parked next to each other on one block.
Seat. These seam to be very popular, especially for taxis.

Renault. Yes, the French do make cars.

Citroen?

Toyota. A Corolla, but much different that the US version.

Volkswagen. Oooh, a minivan.

Audi. This is just an A4, but why does it look so much cooler in Spain?

Opel.

Fiat.

Lancia.

Keep an eye out for the top reasons that Jason wishes he was here…
Still waiting for you to see a bad ass car, so far its just the ones that are available here. Show me some Italian Ferrari driving along and then I will get jealous.

You know, for someone who complained about not enjoying this kind of thing, you sure have gotten into the blogging spirit
I enjoyed seeing all the different cars in China, too. I was amazed to see Fords there–couldn’t figure out why they’d be buying our cars when we couldn’t get rid of them fast enough. They had Citroens there, too. And lots, and lots of bikes. I’m sure you saw Andrea’s picture from the market with all the bikes.
I can’t wait to hear more about the nightlife in Spain.

Blogging seems fun fo far, especially when I see comments. It means that someone is actually reading it!
I did not see Andrea’s picture. Is it posted somewhere?

Jason…I tried to get the Ferrari, but he was going to fast
I’ll try again. There are two that I really want to get. One is a 4-door Smart car, the other is a hatchback version of the little Lotus.

I don’t know if Andrea’s pic is posted. I’ll send it to you when I can–it’ll be a few days, at least.

Becca, we did not rent bikes or scooters. The metro is OK, and we’ve taken a few cab rides. Mainly, we have done a ton of walking. I’m not sure that there are scooter rentals, but that would be fun.
