End of the line.

This marks our last full day in Barcelona. We needed to get up at 5:45 the next day to get to the airport and catch the flight home. We decided to do a little sightseeing, but then spend the rest of the time at the beach and relax.

But first, breakfast. This ended up being one of our favorite places for breakfast.

They had amazing café con leche (coffee) – or so I’m told. I was the only one who isn’t addicted to cocaine…I mean caffeine.

With a good hearty breakfast in our bellies, we marched over to the Arc de Triomf.

The Arc itself was interesting, but the setting made it amazing.

South of the Arc was another park. It had several sculptures and beautiful shaded grass knolls.

It also had a pond in the middle with row boats for rent.

Ahh, the Mediterranean.

I guess this guy was too trusting of his friends and should not have fallen asleep. Jason, let this be a lesson to you…

  1. Why was cafe caracas your favorite b-fast place, aside from the quality cocaine? I’ve always preferred cocaine as an afternoon pick-me-up, myself, but, hey, to each his own, right?

  2. It was close to our hotel, we made friends with the waitstaff, and the food was decent, but mainly the coffee was what brought my family back. I liked the fresh orange juice and the fact that we didn’t have to stand around for 45 minutes each saying “I don’t know, where do you want to eat?”

  3. The water looks beautiful!!!
